Kambei Sushi Dish and Chopstick Set.

The elegantly thin dish shape is created by steaming the wood until pliable, then fashioning the shape freehand and by eye. Each dish therefore differs subtly and bears the human touch – imperfection referred to by the Japanese as ‘wabi-sabi’.

The Sushi Dish is presented with certification of the age and rarity of the precious wood it is made from, and its unique number in the edition. Each dish has its own storage case, and comes with a bottle of mineral oil for care.

Included in the set is a single pair of chopsticks with a stand, in their own presentation box, all made from 5,000 year-old English Bog Oak, with brass detail.
